Jesse is going away for some time;
leaving behind Trey alone in Singapore.
Trey seems to be really down now.

So Jesse has a one way ticket to Thailand (which she is going alone) & Trey has ... well he have the invisible knife wound in his heart that will remain there for a very long time. A wound caused by his own carelessness.
